    PAM979 Anyone?

Hi all... Looking for owner reviews of this piece as it would be my first dive into Carbotech. I'm more a collector of the heritage of the brand but have always been interested in the Submersibles and especially the Carbotech. I presently do not own and never have owned a Submersible so looking for some owners to give some opinions. Cheers

I love my 979, light and stealthy, wears small for a 47mm watch. I've had it for about 3.5 years and it still looks like new, after a good amount of time on the wrist, and a lot of strap changes.

I have one as well, pretty nice and light on the wrist ,if you dive in a poll you will see some white stains on the case when the water dries ,wash with fresh water afterwards. It does not happen often only on big hotel pools. The dial is really amazing looks like meteorirte. The only thing that worries me is what will happen if it drops from some height ,dont know if it will brake or tear since its carbon so i am very careful .Other than that i also have it for 3+ years and its quite and very wearable ,i havent found any strap that would go great with it besides rubber! Its the best carbon case in a watch i have seen form any other looks like it was made from a solid block of carbon that was cut by press .

Thanks, the strap hunting might be fun but is also something I'm considering as one of the issues. Looks like only very dark blacks or greys will wear well or a white rubber strap. The dial is what's most intriguing.
