    For Sale Forum.

We are narrowing down possibilities and options, plus the privilege of posting. I will stress it’s buyer beware, due diligence and sellers will be members with full disclosure immediately of name and member references etc to potential buyer. Just an example.
Paneristi.com, ownership and members will not be held liable for any approval of this forum and its transactions. It’s a privilege to be accepted on this forum. Don’t risk exclusion over a panic purchase. Grievances will not be aired publicly.

Field suggestions if you care to and let’s get it correctly formatted.
Panerai only, Paneristi only and known dealers can update their web page once a month on an agreed date ( for example ).

Strap makers must be Paneristi too of proven quality.

    and go…….

    talk soon.

Panerai only? And here I was, hoping a fellow Paneristi would be looking to offload their Tudor Pepsi among friends...
    So it goes.

Not entirely ruling this out but it must be Paneristi to Paneristi, not a dealer who found us online and sees an audience. It’s an option but one step at a time.

That makes sense to me. Keeping things personal and at a manageable scale will help avoid issues. Great to hear there is some progress. Thx for the update.

My thoughts would be - Paneristi to Paneristi and Panerai only - there are plenty of forums selling other brands.

            Totally agree.

The scamming across all media seems to have gotten worse recently. My only suggestion if not working with a bricks & mortar seller or well-known other is using a video call, not only to see what your buying but identification too at the same time. It has helped me find great private sellers & vice versa and also deterred those that refuse a call.

Yeah, those personal touches go a long way. When I bought my 312 from another Paneristi before the site moved, he sent me a video he recorded of him packing it for shipping so I knew exactly what went in the box and how. I didn't ask for it, but it was kinda nice actually. No surprises.

Paneristi/Paneristi and Panerai related items would be my vote. So much of the interesting watches, straps, books, collectible “stuff” is in the collections of this group, that should keep us all occupied for some time.

This group has been involved enough, whether through initial testing, long-term brand following, gatherings, etc. it can evolve if the desire strongly arises. But I agree w the prior post in that there are plenty of other places to sell other watches if you really need to.

But at this point, start off with what people really want to be able to do and that is buy/sell/trade their Panerai related items with other enthusiasts. This will satisfy 90%+ of what people want I imagine. (No - the % was not scientifically derived!)

It's good to see the needle moving for the sales section!

My suggestion would be that it should be for Paneristi to Paneristi and Panerai only (except for straps) to start with. A separate non-Panerai section could follow once the initial Panerai section is up and running successfully.

Selling here should be considered a privilege and benefit of membership - NOT a right. Lazy sales posts should not be tolerated...

A few suggestions to help add a layer of security and thoroughness:
                  • Seller's must have at least 25 (meaningful) forum posts on the Paneristi site.
                  • All sales posts must include a pre-determined disclaimer to protect site ownership
                  • All sales posts MUST include a thorough description, sales price, item location, statement of condition and detailed photographs at the time of publishing
                  • At least one photograph MUST show all items included in the sale along with a handwritten 'tag' with Paneristi.com, sellers username, items and date For example - if I were to sell my 368 (which isn't happening):

The above could be included as a standard sales template that automatically opens when you click on the 'New Sales Post' button in the section - this must be filled out in full in order for your ad to publish.

I don't think starting off small and working our way up to what gets sold here is nearly as relevant as who it's sold by... and I fail to see how that vetting protocol would be affected in the least by whether that established Paneristi is trying to sell their Luna Rossa, or fund one by selling their Speedy to another member here who already knows and trusts him.

Very good news, do not enter this forum to sell anything but to share a hobby, but it would be great to have that section again.
In the other forum they had authentic wonders, and as they say that it is better than another panelisti to enjoy them when one is tired.

Also agree that a template is basic to sell and that all ads have the same descriptions.
model, year, state and its set is something basic that should appear in every ad.
As well as its price and form of payment.
To avoid scammers, a final photo with the set t a paper putting the date of the announcement day and the nick next to paneristi would also greatly avoid scammers their task

                          Hi Paddy,

When you mention "dealers can update their web page", I'm intrigued how this will be formatted?
Would it be a section for dealers and a section for private sellers, similar to tapatalk?

Big thanks to you and all the team for all the ongoing work to develop the forum!

                          Cheers
                          Will

Love the idea about vetting people through time served, posts and proof of previous successful, drama-free sales. Looking forward to this getting underway.
