I believe as well that too separate sections ,dealers and or collectors/private users like before in the previous forums (54 and Tapatalk) is best for all.

1) - 3 sales corners - Panerai and non and 3rd for accessories

2) - Maximum number of items/images - 5 - not 5 images with 30 items in each image - 5 items total (many sites now have limits) - One post per 24hrs. - If post still on main page - no added posts till off the main page

3) - minimum number of actual posts (not great watch etc.) - 25 - 50 in order to use sales corner (your choice) - OG members get a pass (hard to prove though) "I posted once 20 years ago"

Keeping Panerai related sales only would be a preferred strategy. Too much pollution from high volume dealers dilutes the shopping experience for our preferred brand. I section for quality strap makers would be a nice addition too. Just my humble opinion.

Dealers want things done quick and easy. If they have to make 26 - 50 actual contributing posts. They will most likely go some place else

Forum could also charge a yearly fee for watch dealers

Honestly I think dealers have their own platforms, and the better ones become known as it is. I do think it runs the risk of cluttering things and turning into a spam factory.

There was one dealer on the old site who would regularly post his current Panerai inventory, complete with full descriptions, reasonable prices and sometimes pictures. You never knew what they'd get in, and I always found the postings to be enjoyable while looking for something specific.

Honestly, the issue of distributors is something that, if it does not cover the expenses of the forum, I would prefer that this section of private sales... and specific rules of not uploading the post every day, the constant re-uploads are quite annoying in other forums, idem of the facebook pages with the announcements day in and day out about professionals, be they watches or straps.
I would separate the particular from the professional without hesitation

I cannot know f the sales forum is going to be as popular as it was.
However, having different sub-forums for different continents it would be really helpful.

For me, it was really difficult to narrow down to EU classifieds, at least with the previous forum format.
I know that others have had similar issues.

However, I do think it might be extremely useful if the seller was to made to give his or her geographical location as part of their post.

Agreed. Even better, right in the title. It's only 2-3 letters that will allow you to skim right past the ones you aren't willing to deal with anyway.
