The watch is a 232 owned by Covac. The story behind me acquiring it still gives me goosebumps. Plus the ammo strap was his and will never be changed. This watch, plus Covac’s influence in all our lives makes it so special.
Long live our memories. This amazing forum and community sure has some. Keep sharing them and keep the forum alive. Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_8516.jpg Views:	0 Size:	444.4 KB ID:	2516

It's a Paneristi adjacent memory. For PDay Chicago, a group of us commissioned a watch for Paddy which we planned to deliver at the event. Family circumstances prevented Paddy and Mikki from being at PDay, but his daughter Kyla attended. We decided to present the watch to Kyla for Paddy so that it would still happen at PDay (she was not given a heads-up about this).

I was on stage and called her up while, coincidentally, she was Facetiming with Paddy and Mikki. It was a moment of kismet.

Here is the watch presented, made by the talented Artur Akmaev. The front features an idyllic scene from the Cotswolds along with the Gloucester Rugby logo , where Paddy and his brother Kiaran played. The back contains his jersey number. Not a Panerai watch, but a good Paneristi memory.

That was a beautiful and gracious thought Ralph. Bless you all.
It’s a masterpiece. The buildings on the front. Pure home. Captured to perfection x
