it the big grey manifactura brochure depicting the new classic lineup (back then of course.).
it’s beautifully done and surely a collectors item by now. Haven’t seen many of them up for grabs so this should be a must have for the serious collector.

Oh man... The Bonati era is what effectively made the brand what it is. While I appreciate the effort to diversify the lineup while still having historic examples to choose from, the brand wouldn't have near the cache it does without the efforts of Mr. Bonati.

I don’t know first hand the history from when Mr. Bonati ran things, but when I look at the various models, and read what very brand experienced individuals say, it all points to the Bonati era. Post that time have some very interesting watches and the expansion to other buyers is positive for the brand overall. But I don’t see many of the current offerings as furthering the history and interest of the brand among those who seem to most enjoy.

That said, this is a different day and age where one must keep things interesting and have relevant offerings to post on social media seemingly every other day. So I don’t begrudge current leadership, but they also don’t seem to be balancing the new markets and old consumers as well.
