    Answering some ‘moving home’ questions.

There will be confusion no doubt. Basically, you need to forget the past in terms of your identity. Nothing of you transfers over automatically. You will need to join up first then log in. We are trying to transfer old relevant data but that’s a new learning curve for us old heads and remember we are learning the system too. Plus have day time jobs.
Now. For those that remember. Micah did a wonderful photo tutorial for joining in the early beginnings of Paneristi, for our first home. Tapa inherited us overnight in a merger. We knew nothing and consequently disliked that environment. So we planned to leave but it was so difficult and complicated as I was locked out of their format. Along with many wiser heads. So here we are.

Joining: there is a link to that requirement. There are questions. Please help us, and yourselves by being open and divulge yourself as a human, with your history or a friends recommendation to join in. This data is purely for us to help us all try to prevent scamming in this arena. I’m sure you would like to be reassured it’s really me if I advertised mine or bought your watch. It’s by no means ideal to buy from an unknown entity but we are trying to do our part by putting an identity to a member. However we cannot be responsible for the sales fora as creativity amongst thieves abounds. That said your identity stays here. We are trying to make it so hard for a scammer to reach you. That’s the only reason you are being asked honest questions to join. We need honest answers and an honest environment. We are not here to sell watches. We are here to chat about what brought us all together.

On a final note. Be nice. Be polite. Be friendly. Critique but don’t criticize or ridicule. We need diversity but not at a cost. And please. No profanity. I am tired of uncensored media. This is not the place for anyone with no manners.
Join up. Join in. Let’s start to decorate our home. Just in time for Christmas. !

Very Nice, Paddy! I would like to add one word; that is "respect." Please, show respect to all at all times.

A 'moving home' question if I may?!

I've downloaded the vbulletin app, but a search for Paneristi yields no results and the login for this forum doesn't work. Do you need to create a separate login for the app then somehow link to this forum?

I've had a look on the Apple App Store but couldn't find a vBulletin app. I did find the vBulletin Community Forum app, but the app is specific to vBulletin.com, not forums running on vBulletin.
I understand that you've just closed the door on Tapatalk, but am wondering whether you will be installing the Tapatalk Plugin for vBulletin?

I'd be happy to create a new "How to join" tutorial, but since people wouldn't be able to see it until after they joined anyways I doubt it would be useful to post it here? Or I could make it and an admin could add it to the "Sign up" page or something... or I could post in in the FB group instead? Let me know if I can help, I won't do anything without admin approval first.

Micah, you can view the site before joining, so I think they could see it. And having it sticky in the Facebook group would be a very good thing.

Ah, ok that helps. Might take me a minute but I'll put something together

            Dear Paddy
Having been around for a few years, I've seen some changes and am looking forward to this latest experiment which I hope will be a huge success.
Good luck to you, the guiding light for more than 20 years, and whoever else is helping you to run things, moderators et al.
            Onwards and upwards!

I'm not sure if this has already been covered, so please forgive me if so:

Is there something in the works regarding the transfer of years of archives and data from the old Paneristi forum?
I would regularly use it as a resource for learning,

Question: will there be a place to sell/buy Panerai watches/straps, etc?

There is some discussion of a sales section, but no decision has been made.
