AL, a.k.a. Dirty South Straps, member on the previous forum platform. Can't recommend him highly enough, particularly for the money.

Over the years I have ordered a number of straps from Dirk Grandry that really capture the Panerai DNA.

Thank you - someone, finally, coming up with the right answer. Dirk's been making straps for Panerais for over twenty years, and I'd wear his straps over any other makers.

Dirks straps are special. Sewn in buckle, amazing leather in great colors . Click image for larger version

            For the MODS.

Is is possible to create a "sticky" where a list of strap makers can be posted? I believe the old forum had this available.

I’ve always found Toshi straps in the uk to be really good, had about 4 or 5 over the years and have been disappointed.

So - other than the original rubber strap or a Nato - what strap would anyone suggest for a Submersible? What about a bracelet?

Go with NATO straps...i love them for casual and outdoor activities, as they are lightweight and comfortable. There's a range of NATO strap options, including solid colors and patterns. I love blue and red.

Terry Crafted is fantastic and have had some nice ones from Corrigia.

I was going to say Dirk as well but its already mentioned. In fact i found these straps here ,well at the older network 54 forum. I think he no longer makes them though.Best rubber straps are the Original OEM ones. After that its a matter of style and taste.I like my straps minimal, comfortable and durable .Over the past years i saw many strap makers here that do very nice things.
